Nashi - Shinseiki

The Nashi Shinseiki is a robust and hardy variety that is easy to grow. It can withstand harsh conditions and is not very susceptible to disease. This fruit tree needs well-drained, nutrient-rich soil to produce delicious fruit.

The Nashi is also the name given to the fruit. It's a pear shaped like an apple. Its flesh is crisp and not very juicy, more reminiscent of an apple than a pear. Its taste, however, is much closer to a pear, with added exotic notes.

SHINSEIKI is a summer variety. The fruits should be eaten quickly after picking.

Must be pollinated by another variety of NASHI or a pear such as Williams.
